We are excited to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of Camp Haccamo!
The year 2026 marks a significant milestone for Camp Haccamo, our campers and their families, and our donors and supporters. Since 1956, Camp Haccamo has provided a safe, enjoyable, and educational overnight summer camp for children and young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Who We Are
Welcome to Monroe Country Rotary's Camp Haccamo, a cherished community resource since 1956. Now located on the beautiful Sunshine Campus in Rush, NY, we take pride in our rich history while eagerly embracing our future.

Camp Haccamo offers:

A weeklong, overnight camping experience for children and young adults with disabilities.

Safe, enjoyable, and educational programs

A ratio of one counselor per two campers.

Respite time for families and caregivers of the campers.

Special events like the Carnival Nights, Talent Show, and Prom.
