Camp Haccamo was created fifty years ago to provide a camping experience for individuals who might not have the opportunity to go to other traditional residential camps. We provide enriching summer fun activities as well as high quality care for children and young adults with developmental disabilities in the Monroe County Area.

Our programs are completely FREE of charge to all campers. Founded by the Rotary cLubs of Monroe County in 1956, Camp Haccamo provides a week-long, overnight camping experience for young people in the Greater Rochester area with all types of developmental or other disabilities.

Children with cancer, with downs Syndrome, autism, Cerebral Palsy... children in wheelchairs... it doesn't matter. Camp Haccamo accepts them all -- at no charge to campers' families.
